St Mary’s and St James is a Jesus‑centred church at the heart of Lockleaze, called to be a community where everyone belongs and every story is welcomed. We are growing as an intergenerational family who learn from one another, follow Jesus together, and create space for honest questions and deepening faith.

We are committed to loving our neighbourhood in practical, hopeful ways standing with those who are struggling, nurturing places of safety and peace, and working with local partners and schools for the good of Lockleaze. We trust the Holy Spirit to guide us as we listen, pray, and step out with courage, believing that God is renewing lives and transforming our community day by day.
