Volunteering

A lot of what we do is supported by amazing volunteers giving up their time to wash up. We are so thankful to those who give up their time to make teas and coffees, drive a minibus, wash up, maintain the church grounds, play games with young people and help with crafts! If you would like to be involved, email one of the team as to how you could help us in our mission of Loving Jesus, Loving People and Loving Lockleaze.

Certain roles are subject to a DBS check being completed, through the safer recruiting process by our safeguarding team.

All that we do here at St Mary and St James church is only possible through peoples radical generosity and kindness with their resources - whether that is through prayer, with their time, skills they have or by other means. Pray

We believe that prayer has the power to transform peoples lives, to strengthen our community and to do the miraculous through the Holy Spirit! If you want to pray with us, why not come to one of our services or attend our bible study to see how you could pray for us. You could also look at our calendar and pray over the upcoming events in our diary.
